Overview
Villa Bonomi is a stunning property overlooking Lake Como’s western coast. With 11 spacious bedrooms and expansive grounds, it’s the perfect villa for a luxury holiday with a larger group of friends and family.
Four acres of lush, multi-level gardens – designed by renowned Italian landscape designer Pietro Porcinai – surround the villa. Immaculate lawns and spacious terraces are connected via stone pathways, offering guests plenty of beautiful spaces for relaxing and taking in the views whilst enjoying complete privacy and seclusion.
In one corner of the gardens is a large swimming pool, tiled with beautiful blue mosaics specially designed to avoid harsh light reflections. Flanked by manicured hedges and lanky cedar trees, it’s the perfect space for cooling off in the heat of the day.
The verdant expanse of the parterre in front of the villa offers some of the most spectacular views of the lake and rolling hills behind. To the side of the villa, an elegant loggia lined with statues and climbing plants offers another space to enjoy the natural surroundings.
Tucked away at one end of the garden is the Terraza di Flora, a partially enclosed terrace with archways overlooking the grounds. At the other end of the gardens, a romantic promenade sheltered by forest is ideal for quiet morning strolls or hiding away with a holiday read.
The impeccably restored villa interiors exude opulence with their high, domed ceilings, elegant lighting, and carefully selected furnishings. Polished marble floors welcome guests across the ground floor rooms.
The vast central room is perfect for larger gatherings and events. Leading off each side of the main room are cosy fireplace rooms, providing quieter places to relax and socialise. Adjoining one of these rooms is a spacious living room with plush sofas, and off the other is an elegant dining room where guests can enjoy meals prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen.
Eight of the 11 elegant guest suites are spread across the villa’s three floors. All bedrooms have beautiful lake or garden views, and most have en-suite or private facilities. The master suite on the first floor also boasts a private balcony with spectacular views over the lake.
Ideal for those seeking more privacy, there is also a separate guest house with two more bedrooms.

Villa Bonomi is an absolute dream! The gardens are breathtaking, and the views of Lake Como are unparalleled. The pool is a perfect retreat on warm days, and the interiors are elegantly furnished.
